Medium Maranta Leuconeura

Being part of the prayer family, whose characteristic trait is to move their leaves up at night and back down in the mornings, the Maranta leuconeura is native to the tropical Americas. With its remarkable, unique, brown-spotted, light green, oval-shaped leaves, the Leuconeura will bring that outdoor feeling into your space!

Since the plant is from a tropical environment, it thrives in high humidity, warm temperatures, consistently moist (not soggy/wet) soil, and medium to indirect bright light. This makes them great to place on a desktop, bookcase, cubby or small nook in your home that is well-lit, but doesn't get direct light! Over time this plant may lose some of its leaves, but don’t be alarmed, this is just a natural occurrence in the plant's life cycle.
